Return Policy
We offer a 14-day return policy for all orders, both domestic (Australia) and international. This means you have 14 days from the date of receiving your artwork to request a return.
Return Eligibility:
To be eligible for a return, the painting, artwork, or print must be:
- In the same condition as received (unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging).
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
To initiate a return, please contact us at araxustudio@outlook.com before sending the item. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Return Process:
- Request a return – Contact us with your order details and reason for return within 14 days of receiving the item.
- Approval & instructions – If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package.
- Refund processing – Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the refund status.
Note: Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
International Orders & DDP Responsibility:
For international returns, customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and import fees (DDP - Delivered Duty Paid) associated with returning the item. These charges will not be reimbursed by us.
Damaged or Incorrect Items:
We take great care in packaging our artworks, but if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please inspect it upon arrival and contact us immediately at araxustudio@outlook.com. We will assess the issue and arrange for a replacement or refund.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like commission or special order. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchange Policy
We offer a 14-day exchange policy from the date of purchase for paintings, artworks, and prints.
If You Haven’t Received Your Order:
- If you placed an order but haven’t received it yet, please contact us with your order details. If the item has already been shipped, we will assist you in tracking your delivery.
If You’ve Received Your Order and Want to Exchange It:
To be eligible for an exchange, the painting, artwork, or print must be returned in the same condition as it was received—unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
How to Request an Exchange:
- Return the item – Contact us to initiate an exchange and return the item in its original condition.
- Exchange approval – Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the approval.
- Place a new order – To receive your new artwork quickly, we recommend making a separate purchase after your return is approved.
Important Notes:
- We do not accept exchanges for items that are damaged, defective due to misuse, or missing original packaging.
- Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item arrived faulty or damaged
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
